My PILLOW COLLECTIONS
In March of 2009 Sarah Dunn Arts received a grant from the
Louisiana Cultural Economic Foundation to produce a line of
textile products featuring Sarah Dunn's artwork. The
foundation was started to boost economic growth in
Louisiana with the promotion of cultural endeavors. With
the aide of this grant SDA went into full production.
On April 12, 2009 the first series' prototypes were
premiered. A line of 6 silk scarves, 9 pillows, and 7
giclee reproduction paintings were viewed at the Art Center
Waco's exhibition "Black, White, & RED" featuring
Dunn's work. With the amazing response from viewers at this
event and others Sarah Dunn Arts has gone full time with
the product line and are now available nationwide.
Each Scarf is offered on 23" x 80" beautiful 12-mm habotai
silk with hand rolled edges and also 100% ribbed cotton.
The pillows feature Dunn's artwork printed on linen and
poly satin finished with original designed fringes and
stuffed with 100% down inserts. The GiClees are printed on
heavy duty cotton duck canvas and stretched, they feature
hand painted edges and brushstrokes.
